  After waiting an hour and a half before they got started (I knew I should have left and gone to Charlotte) but I wanted to give the shop one more try. I paid $180 for braids I could have gotten done for $65. They're big at the root and super skinny at the tip, way shorter than I've ever seen or gotten and I had 2 braiders in my hair and have 3 different looking braids! How does that happen, you can't even match your own braid? Needless to say I'll be going to Charlotte or Winston next time.

  The shop location is closed. But the phone still goes to her and she tells you she does hair out of her appt. I asked her if she could do Marley Twists and she said yes and I gave her the colors I wanted and she said ok. That day I showed up at my time which was 4pm. She was doing someone else hair and didn't get to my hair until 9pm. And she has no sense of urgency so she takes multiple breaks and with a newborn it makes the wait worse. She finally gets to me and I don't see the hair needed for Marley, I instead see Kanekelon. I point it out and instead of admitting she didn't get my hair, she tried to play me like I'm stupid saying there no such thing as Marley hair. I've had Marley twists before & purchased the hair and so i know of the hair necessary tho it's not called Marley hair it is a kinkier hair. So after waiting forever I was just like whatever Senegalese it is. The entire time I was there they watched African television and the outfit her mom wore was see through and you could see her bra-less saggy boobs through the arms without even trying. But the apt was clean which made it all tolerable at the very least. Plus i had headphones. I highly suggest you do the same (but really stay away all together). When she finished my hair she didn't even take the time to cut the knots and kinks on the ends or cut it even. I also saw some of the locking knots already loose. She just dipped it as is & sent me on my way. I had random strands wayyy longer than the others and knotted up real bad. When I got home I had to brush the ends, cut it and dip it again. My hair barely lasted a month and I'm no newbie so I always take good care of my braids and normally keep them atleast 2 months. She charges shop prices still for half the quality. Trust me stay away!!!! I will neverrrrr go back again. It's no wonder she lost her shop.
